This notice covers Emal Rasoul Design: contacting local businesses about website design, and working with clients on their websites.
Who I am
ERasoul Consulting Ltd, trading as Emal Rasoul Design, is responsible for your information (the "data controller"). Registered in England and Wales, company number 17505769. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference ZC270400.

If I contacted you about a new website
- What I hold: your business name, its website, and the business contact details it publishes, such as a general email address, phone number or a named contact.
- Where I got them: publicly available sources, such as your own website, Google Maps or business directories.
- Why: to introduce my website design service. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to local businesses.
- How long: if you say you're not interested, I'll stop and delete your details, keeping only a note not to contact you again. Otherwise I delete prospect details within 12 months.
To stop hearing from me, reply "no thanks" to any email, or email me at the address above.
If you become a client
I use your contact details and the content you share with me to design, build and launch your website, and for invoicing. The legal basis is performing our contract. I keep records for as long as needed for the work and to meet legal and accounting obligations, usually six years.
Who can see it
Only me, plus the services I use to run the business: Google (email) and the hosting provider of any website I build for you. I never sell your details.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to me using it. Email me and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
